Metal → phones, GPS, and toll tags stay clear
Sunlight hitting glass is roughly visible light, infrared heat, and ultraviolet. Dyed film mostly darkens what you see. Ceramic film embeds non-metallic nanoparticles that are tuned to infrared wavelengths, so the cabin can stay cooler without requiring limo-dark glass. UV is filtered in the film stack regardless of shade. Because there is no metal layer, the film does not act like a Faraday cage on your antennas.
